Windows phone on Windows 8.1

While trying to copy files to my Lumia 520, my windows didn’t show the phone in my computer.

To solve this

1. Install Window Phone App

Why? I don’t know, this is supposed to work out of the box. But it might be an issue since Lumia 520 is a pretty cheap issue.

Or the issue might be that Metro-phone app stole the attention.

This is how its supposed to look:

Now we can copy files like an usual folder.

Now, how do we do this wirelessly?

Lumia 800 finally at 7.8

Today operator Telia finally released Windows Phone 7.8 for the Lumia 800 in Sweden.

Took a while.

Features will include:

• Lockscreen with daily Bingimage
• Resizable Live tiles
• Internet Sharing (?, already release weeks ago?)
• Bluetoothsharing
• Contact Share
• PlayTo

Not really impressing, but we’ll see if it brings any nice tidbits when we’ve tried it for while…
